Munising Waterfalls

These pictures were taken in Munising, Michigan this past summer. I took these pictures on my Android phone and felt like they turned out well for the most part. I wanted to capture the water coming down at the right time, and I believe the lighting was great, but I feel like the overall capture of the falls could have improved.

Wildlife vs. Landscape

When reading the first set of assigned reading I enjoyed learning about the difference between taking photos of wildlife versus landscape. I didn't know that there was major differences when it comes to lens size, filters, and detail; you need a super-telephoto lens for wildlife compared to landscape shots where you would need Internal focusing lenses. These different lenses change the aspect of the shot such as angles and quality depending on which type of photo you are attempting to take. When taking photos of landscape the book talked about having two specific filters for the lens, a screw-on polarizing filter and a graduated neutral density filter. (pages 21-24)
